Afoggatto

An afoggatto (Italian for ‘drowned’) is an Italian coffee-based dessert. It takes the form of a scoop of vanilla ice cream topped or “drowned” with a shot of Galliano espresso.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Galliano Espresso
  • 1 scoop of Vanilla Ice cream

Method

Add 1 scoop Vanilla ice cream, pour Galliano Ritretto into the glass. Garnish with 3 chocolate coffee beans.
